We are seeking a Marketing Strategist to develop and implement creative strategies utilizing various channels to support and promote our mission. The Strategist must enjoy working cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure campaigns are based on market analysis and customer insights. The position requirements include developing targeted marketing plans; developing messaging; analyzing reports and insights to optimize future campaign plans and tactics; managing campaign budgets and external creative agencies; and supervising members of the Marketing team.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field. Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing is a plus.
At least 6-8 years of direct response marketing experience, with an emphasis on integrated marketing, personalization strategy and/or marketing campaign strategy.
Hands-on experience developing and executing campaigns across key channels including email, web, direct mail and social media.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including content creation, messaging, proofreading and copy editing.
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to capture and synthesize campaign analytics to optimize performance.
Understanding of marketing trends, best practices, and techniques.
Google AdWords and Analytics certification is a plus.
