POSITION TITLE:Manager, Community Engagement (Exempt)
REPORTS TO: Director, Membership & Communities
Responsible for driving member engagement through ASSE Communities. Focus on the management & facilitation of online communities and operations of ASSE Common Interest Group Communities.
Member Engagement/Online Community Management
Coordinate and participate in the development and implementation of programs to increase member engagement with ASSE Communities.
Cultivate relationships with OSH subject matter experts to help seed online community dialogue, develop programming & content.
Develop lasting relationships to influence the engagement of Community leaders and the value members receive through ASSE Communities.
Develop community guidelines to foster collaborative and welcoming virtual communities.
Develop data driven recommendations for technology & platform needs required to align with strategic goals.
Develop and execute incentive programs to motivate member engagement & community contributions.
Work with other ASSE Community managers and departments to connect ASSE Virtual and face-to-face communities to offer a cohesive and connected community experience for members.
Work with the Membership & Community management team to develop metrics & measurements to track & motivate member engagement
Conduct research and analyzes data to develop informed decisions and innovations.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, responding to and anticipating member needs.
Oversee the operations & management of four Common Interest Groups.
3-5 years related experience.
Demonstrated success in managing online communities.
Understanding of key community metrics.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to connect and establish lasting relationships.
Approaches problem solving with a creative and positive methodology.
Genuine curiosity to experiment and try new ways to do things.
Intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Ability to travel to weekend or evenings events and travel to our annual conference out of state.
Ability to work Monday through Friday during normal working hours.
