The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the largest trade association in the nation, is seeking a Professional Development Coordinator to support for the At Home with Diversity Certification, which prepares NAR members to work effectively with – and within – today’s increasingly diverse pool of homebuyers. The Professional Development Coordinator will also support Global Business Councils and other educational offerings within the Commercial and Global Services area of the Association.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative/Customer Service: Manage in-classroom and on-line courses; manage, prioritize and respond to inquiries from members, instructors and course sponsors; assist with instructor applications and instructor recertification; coordinate website updates and social media postings; administer payments, data entry, and monthly reporting; code payments made online
Course Provider Support and Outreach: Conduct outreach to find new potential course sponsors; support existing sponsors with marketing tips, webinars, talking points, conference calls, etc.; identify new marketing and communication strategies; create action plan for marketing, communication and support
NAR Meetings and Other Travel: Assist with meeting preparation and on-site support for networking events, meetings/courses/instructor recertification; travel to other state and/or franchise shows as assigned
Minimum of 3-5 years administrative experience
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative, strong work ethic, attention to detail, team orientation and dependability
Excellent written/oral communication skills; some marketing and communication experience a plus
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to travel up to four times a year (2-3 days per trip)
Demonstrated interest in diversity issues desired
