The Leadership Sr Director will help develop and direct the global development needs for state and territorial public health leaders to create and deliver programs and solutions that address those needs as well develop the strategy and manage the operations of the program. Responsibilities include management of the State Health Leadership Initiative (SHLI) program; management of grants and reporting requirements; development of assessment tools, learning plans, executive coaching and mentoring programs; and outreach strategies. Other key areas include coordinating an annual meeting; building a learning library; and effectively communicating with program stakeholders and ASTHO staff.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in adult education or a related field; 10+ years experience in the learning environment (preferably in leadership programs); excellent all around communication skills, including presentations; and excellent interpersonal skills.
