The Edison Electric Institute (EEI), the association that represents all U.S. investor-owned electric companies, has an outstanding opportunity for a Manager, Member Relations.
This position will manage the EEI Associate Membership Program. This includes balancing interaction between existing Associate Members and growing the program. The position will be responsible for developing new product offerings; marketing the program to potential associates; ensuring members are engaged and receive satisfactory value; managing data, contact information, dues and renewal information on over 250 Associates; and developing and implementing an improved renewal and retention effort.
The successful applicant will have:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred
A minimum of 1-3 years of applicable experience in a trade association or similar environment
Experience in the electric-power industry is a plus
Excellent understanding of and ability to implement business marketing principles; creativity; outstanding interpersonal and sales skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage data and track progress
Ability to use a member database
