We are looking for someone that knows events, memberships, certification and can communicate professionally with these individuals and either knows already or has a desire to learn CRM and demonstrate its benefits to other association professionals.

About the Association Sales Demo Engineer Position As a software company, our demos are integral to making sure that association prospects see not only the features and functions of the software, but also its benefits to the organization. We need an individual who is passionate about the need for an organization to undergo a Digital Transformation and is willing to translate that passion into showing prospects how Microsoft and Altai can help them achieve that goal.
We need someone who can:
Be enthusiastic about translating the Digital Transformation message to Association leaders and decision-making stakeholders
Understand the various levels of the stakeholders involved in making decisions about large-scale technical changes within an Association
Be comfortable talking to the non-technical stakeholders in the organization about the merits of Digital Transformation and the Altai product both virtually and in-person
Learn the technical functions, features, and most importantly, the benefits of the Altai product and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Work closely with the Altai Sales team to ensure that the appropriate messaging is maintained, and features are exhibited
Lives in the DC Metro area.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Establish and maintain credible technical relationships at the executive level. Customers, field sellers and partners view you as a strategic advisor.
Assisting sales in delivering consistent high-quality responses to RFI’s and RFP’s
Provide presales solution architecture guidance.
Design and deliver compelling highly impactful demonstrations to customers.
Develop and demonstrate deep knowledge of Microsoft’s Association Platform solution to qualified prospects and customers to support and drive their digital transformation.
Work alongside the Altai Sales staff and strategic partners to bring new solutions to market and provide technical guidance to help the partners win. Host field learning opportunities that showcase managed partner and ISV solution for field sellers.
Drive the differentiated Altai / Microsoft story by crafting presentations that showcase Dynamics 365 with supporting technologies to create compelling industry solutions.
Occasional travel to prospect sites, customers, partners, trade shows, or other events both locally and nationally

Experiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge:
A process driven individual with work experience directly in/with the membership or events department.
A passion for current technological software (preferably Microsoft) and trends.
A willingness to help organizations realize a Digital Transformation.
Minimum 3-5 years of direct experience working in or with associations and/or non-profit organizations.
Strong negotiation, organizational, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
Competitive knowledge of AMS Systems (iMIS, Personify, Microsoft, Salesforce, ACGI, etc.). In-depth knowledge working with one of those systems in an association is a plus.
Proven experience engaging with senior level executives.
Experience work the Microsoft Business Platform (Azure, Dynamics CRM, Flow, PowerApps) is preferred but not required.
Broad knowledge of and ability to explain key end-user scenarios and technical architecture.
Knowledge of key industry partners and systems integrators supporting customers service business enterprise applications.
