Responsible for excellent service and resource for the association’s education and fellowship training programs. Works closely with the Assistant Director of Education, as required; collaborates with other Society staff as needed. Project start date: Monday, July 13; End date: Friday, September 4.
Duties and Responsibilities:
In conjunction with SSO financial staff and the Assistant Director of Education, works to facilitate the generation of invoices to Breast and CGSO Fellowship programs, focusing on communicating with program directors and their staff regarding outstanding payments.
Assists the Assistant Director of Education in fulfilling Breast Fellows graduation certificate requests: managing communication to and from programs, building a survey to collect data – using Survey Monkey, generating certificates and emailing them to Fellows.
Processes continuing education manuscript reviewer requests: logging in data, generating CME certificates and emailing them to individuals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field.
Experience in association management or not-for profit organizations is preferred.
Proven technology skills in MS Office.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to work with supervision.
Team player and works well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate information in a way that can be easily understood by members, prospective members, staff and others. Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely with correct grammar, spelling and punctuation; verbally communicate in an accurate and effective manner. Excellent oral communication skills are required.
Excellent organizational skills, with ability to respond to changing needs and priorities, shift attention among simultaneous activities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
