This position will be a part of the professional development team and will also have general administrative responsibilities. This position requires the ability to balance many tasks and responsibilities in a variety of roles.
Annual Meeting Support:
Oversee in person courses.
Assist as needed with educational sessions.
Attend committee meetings as assigned.
Other duties, as assigned.
Regional Meetings and In Person Courses
Staff liaison to each committee assigned.
Project management of regional meetings and in person events.
ATTP/RTTP certification program:
Verify AUTM membership for applicants to RTTP
Provide RTTP credits to member applying to RTTP (usually get requests every other week)
Explain RTTP to members (usually get calls every other week)
Order RTTP pins and verify logo with new vendor
Update RTTP pages to have a roadmap for Candidate and RTTP applicants
Manage the RTTP collateral inventory of pins and brochures
Other duties, as assigned
Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in management, communications, or related field a plus.
Three years’ experience working for an association in developing program content for meetings and educational training.
Understanding of the management of member organizations with experience working with an association management software, specifically iMIS.
Strong project management skills, ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with staff and membership with a high level of diplomacy and effectiveness.
Innovative thinker with the ability to translate strategic thinking into actionable plans and results.
Experience creating, monitoring and managing budgets.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Business Docs and experience working with an association management software, iMIS preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Travel to events for onsite meeting management.
Ability to work successfully in a remote environment required.
