Position Summary: The Manager of e-Learning and Professional Resources, reporting to the Director of Professional Development and Resources, is responsible for managing aspects of program support for the Council for Exceptional Children’s (CEC) online professional development and professional resources. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience: BA/BS degree and three or more years of progressive experience in contributing to the design and development of online professional development programs and e-learning programs; CMS, professional development and/or program management experience a plus; background with various course authoring software, Learning Management Systems (LMS) management and/or instructional design strongly preferred. Language Ability: Strong written and oral communication skills and proofreading and editing skills; excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups. Computer Skills: Competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Association Management, Learning Management and/or Content Management Systems.
