The IAAP Certification Program Coordinator serves oversight of the IAAP Certification Unit. The Coordinator is a full-time position and is responsible for managing and handling communications, both incoming and outgoing, and coordinating engagement of IAAP current and future certification holders and the service/benefits offerings. The Coordinator is involved in various activities such as managing staff and running the daily operations of the Unit. The position requires an organized, self-driven, self-directive, tech-savvy, and outgoing personality. Essential duties and responsibilities: include (1) Communication with candidates and certificants due for renewals (2) program support and (3) reporting and data management.
Qualifications required for this position include a college degree, experience of working for a non-for-profit association. The candidate should have a professional background in: Project management, communications, and accessibility.
Proven ability to work remotely and complete assignments independently
Proven work experience in support of certifications/credentials or similar role.
Experience planning and leading initiatives both in person and virtually.
Ability to identify, track and report on certification progress data.
Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
Excellent aptitude for details and project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Hands-on experience with building and maintaining association and/or certification programs
Attention to detail, critical-thinker, and problem-solver.
