Supervises and trains all membership staff and monitors administrative processes and systems in coordination with the CEO. Supervises two staff people.
Assists in planning, developing and evaluating the association’s goals, programs, policies and procedures
Coordinates all new member orientation activities
Oversees membership database administration and coordination of records with the Division of Real Estate, state association, and National Association
Ensures accuracy of the membership process including admissions, maintenance of records and collateral material
Ensures data integrity within the association management database, membership application processing and on-boarding
Ensures maximum opportunity to build strong bonds with the organization and its members
Assists CEO in preparation, administration and implementation of the membership department budget
Oversees compliance with NAR’s Core Standards
Leads membership recruitment, retention and engagement activities
Researches, plans, organizes, establishes and executes commercial services to promote the initiatives of commercial REALTORS®
Seeks partnerships with local advocacy groups, commercial REALTORS®, other NAR and non-NAR affiliated real estate associations, real estate professionals, other associations, business groups, commercial property owners, affiliates such as CCIM, as well as other local business leaders and real estate practitioners.
Identify, cultivate, and convert relationships with non-member residential and commercial brokerages
Collaborate with communications staff to disseminate commercial news in current association distributions and to produce Commercial weekly e-newsletter with comprehensive calendar of industry events.
Collaborate with event staff to plan events, networking opportunities and seminars to help commercial members prosper
Collaborate with marketing staff to conduct commercial member and broker member surveys, focus groups, etc., to identify commercial needs, programs, and services
Curate comprehensive list of industry resources, directories, and technology tools for inclusion on commercial website
Identify opportunities to connect with NAR commercial staff and fellow local REALTOR® associations to build/maintain relationships with commercial staff and improve communication on shared best practices.
Identify and implement opportunities for non-dues revenue generation and research and apply for grants.
Coordinates attendance of new member orientation and ensures proper dissemination of materials
Spearheads the broker outreach initiative
Meets with brokers
Provides information for the monthly broker e-newsletter
Must have 3 years membership management experience
Preferred not required: RCE designation, CAE designation, REALTOR association experience, experience with Rapattoni membership software
Additional Salary Information: To start at the high end of the range the candidate must have experience with REALTOR associations and Rapattoni membership software
