About the Chapter Relations Manager Role:
This position will be responsible for providing the overall program management for a 63 volunteer leaders group including staff support for committee and subcommittee work with agendas, reports, meeting summaries and communication updates on committee activities as well as the logistical planning for two committee meetings annually. Coordinates the delivery of chapter leader training virtually and/or in-person to provide tools and resources to chapter volunteers for chapter capacity building. This position will also support chapter membership recruitment and retention efforts by tailoring tools to meet chapter needs, monitoring membership trends and providing communication updates on membership efforts.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with members or volunteer groups, be self-motivated, works well in a fast-paced environment and be eager to work as part of a collaborative team. Our future contributor should thrive under pressure, operate with a process improvement mentality and have a passion for strengthening relationships, coordinating logistics and delivering an outstanding member experience.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree required
3+ years of experience in volunteer management, training or association management
Excellent computer and communication skills
Extensive experience in planning and executing virtual events using platforms such as Airmeet, WebEx, and/or Ring Central.
A demonstrated ability to make recommendations and influence senior executives and decision makers
Project management experience
Willing and able to travel up to approximately 6-10 times per year with weekend travel
