Manage the selection, communication, and execution of the NADA & ATD Show education & workshops.
Manage and develop all aspects of the workshop programs for both the NADA and ATD Shows, including call for proposals, speaker selection, speaker management, collection of collateral materials, on-site support, and post-show evaluations.
Research and develop educational topics for the NADA and ATD conventions. Evaluate industry trainers, consultants, and potential paid and non-paid speakers for the NADA Show. Oversee invitations, speaker agreements, contract negotiations, and hiring of all speakers for the NADA and ATD conventions. Serve as point of contact for all speakers on-site.
Stay knowledgeable and on top of industry trends. Aggregate data post-show to identify areas of strength and suggestions for future shows. Present post-Show data and trends, workshop topic proposals, and keynote suggestions to the NADA Show Committee.
Collaborate, liaise, and communicate across all Dealership Operations departments and respective leadership.
Work with Marketing Manager to create, implement and maintain a comprehensive workshop marketing plan for online, email, and print communications.
Supervise all staff and temps that assist with workshop implementation onsite.
Serve as liaison for internal and external vendors. Coordinate logistics for all presenters and the Speaker Ready Room.
Create all workshop signage. Assist with proofing website, mobile app, and onsite program directory.
Assist with logistics for the Hybrid/Virtual NADA Show, as needed.
Oversee all speaker expense reimbursements and payment of honorarium. Post-Show, review and reconcile various vendor invoices for accuracy and payment.
Serve as liaison with Northwood University for the Continuing Education Units awards program.

Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree required. Five to seven years ‘experience in program development and event planning management required. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks. Experience in contract negotiation required. Ability to work independently and to establish and achieve project management timelines. Knowledge of dealership operations and automotive industry desirable.
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint.
Experience with Planstone and a2z applications a plus.
Ability to quickly learn other technology that may be adopted by the team.
