NAFA Fleet Management Association seeks a skilled education manager to join its fully remote team. The Manager of Education is responsible for planning and execution—needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation—of high-quality education offerings and knowledge resources. They are an integral team member that helps ensure NAFA delivers the most targeted, relevant, rigorous, and valued educational offerings in the fleet management industry, across all key domains and key audiences. The successful team member in this role has the necessary experience and expertise to manage and grow NAFA’s educational portfolio across synchronous and asynchronous modalities using best practices in adult learning, curriculum development, and experience design principles.

Position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact tactfully with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have the ability to understand a complex system of inter-related systems, apply industry best practices in training and development, prepare reports, and draw independent conclusions based on an analysis of information available. Scopes projects and estimates time required accurately; consistently meets deadlines and communicates promptly when obstacles arise. May handle confidential learner, volunteer, and/or faculty information, deal with sensitive situations, and possess a high degree of attention to detail.

Responsibilities include: 

Program Administration/Product Management: Manages existing education product/programs (e.g., Supplier Webinars, Seminar Series, Essentials of Fleet Management, Boot Camps) to include administration, volunteer management, learner experience, program evaluation, and program/curriculum update

Curriculum/Product Development: Manages the design, development and maintainance of exceptional educational content/products for different learning experiences, including participant and trainer materials.

Faculty/SME Management: Works collaboratively with subject matter experts, volunteer leaders, committees, consultants as needed to perform skill gap assessments, build educational content (courses, tools, products, sessions) to address those gaps, and review/update existing courseware annually.

Learning Management System: Ensures that educational technology, systems, and data are used in the most efficient and effective way to deliver online programming and meet annual goals.

· A bachelor’s degree or equivalent competencies.

· Minimum of 3 years of education and training experience in membership associations, or equivalent expertise.

· Advanced knowledge of credentialing standards adult learning.

· Volunteer management experience.

· Able to research, read, analyze, and interpret articles, reports, transcripts, and other documents.

· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.

· Intermediate to high degree of computer literacy, excellent data entry skills, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).

· Able to independently move about conferences and conventions.

· Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

· Able to travel domestically and internationally by air and ground.

· Able to write articles and reports for external audiences that conform to prescribed style and format.

· Able to effectively present information to management, member/customer groups, and/or committees
