Communications Specialist
A successful candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing a variety of marketing and communication materials, including website content, quarterly publication, social media posts, email campaigns, and more. A requirement of the position is to work in the office in Alexandria, VA. Core hours M-F from 10am - 2pm. Responsibilities: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Work with the Editor to format the quarterly magazine, The Submarine Review, using Word Doc and InDesign Edit and proofread all communications materials, including newsletters, press releases, social media posts, and marketing collateral, ensuring they are clear, concise, and error-free.
