This role is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for THA and its family of companies in budgeting, strategic financial and tax planning, corporate compliance, regulatory federal and state tax compliance, capital deployment, human resource compensation and benefits programs, membership records and data system, facility operations and infrastructure. Provide various informational reports to Senior Management and the Association Governing Boards.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid Texas Drivers’ License and proof of insurance.
Degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting and CPA.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting and other financial functions.
At least 5 years of management experience.
Must have demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining highly visible and effective interactions with internal and external groups.
Must have experience analyzing data to make recommendations on financial and organizational strategy.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to maintain a professional, mature demeanor and be proficient at working with diverse personalities across all levels of the organization.
Must demonstrate expert presentation skills, planning, analytical, communication, organization and people skills.
Requires strong verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to describe and communicate complex concepts and information in understandable terms to internal and external users in a variety of formats and presentations. Ability to establish priorities, work independently and manage multiple projects with little supervision.
Knowledge of an Association’s corporate operations and general business.
Must have demonstrated ability to coordinate and/or lead multiple projects simultaneously; the experience and ability to manage resources in a matrix/cross-functional organization; and the capacity for creating, identifying, and capitalizing on opportunities.
Ability to travel up to 10-15% of the time with occasional overnight stays.
