ICVA is seeking an Exam Security Specialist who will be an integral member of the ICVA team. The Exam Security Specialist will be responsible for all aspects related to ICVA’s examination security program. The Exam Security Specialist will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day activities related to examination security for ICVA’s suite of assessment programs.
Monitor and review incidents found through routine web-browsing, identifying what incidents require further investigation.
Review test administration incidents reports and post-test survey responses, collaborating with test delivery vendor to obtain additional information about potential security incidents.
Coordinate with examination security vendor in the review of the results of data forensics at the conclusion of each test administration, drafting and disseminating information about how to handle instances where the results are significant.
Monitor exam security inbox, following up on reported incidents and tips when needed to assist with the investigation.
Collaborate with examination security vendor to investigate any tips received related to possible compromised content.
Serve as the staff-liaison to the Committee on Examination Security (CES)working with the Chair and members of the committee related to examination security investigations and hearings, documenting guidelines, decision history, to help committee make consistent decisions.
Lead investigations related to security incidents, summarizing findings and making recommendations to the COO for incidents that may need to be escalated to the COO and Chair of the CES, liaising with legal counsel when needed.
Communicate all decisions related to examination security incidents to examinees.
Routinely review policies and procedures related to examination security, revising when necessary.
Ability to travel out of the area and overnight may be expected throughout the year.

Qualifications, Experiences and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience working with certification or licensure examination programs.
Knowledge of the assessment industry and examination security.
Skilled with Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines, completing assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Superior critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time regular position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, completing a full 37.5 hour work week (7.5 hours per day). There may be occasional evening and weekend work as job duties or projects require.
