This position serves as a subject matter expert in absence and disability management, contributing to the development and delivery of DMEC’s educational events, products, and services. They will collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure DMEC’s educational offerings are compliant with federal and state laws, highly relevant, and continuously improving. This role supports the review and creation of new educational offerings and resources to meet member needs while maintaining the quality and effectiveness of existing offerings. The position requires minimal supervision and collaborative work within cross-functional teams, aligning with DMEC’s core values and emphasizing a team-based approach to decision-making and knowledge sharing. It also requires the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all skill levels and positions, fostering inclusivity and collaboration.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Serves as a moderator and/or producer for webinars and virtual conferences, managing logistics, providing technical support, and ensuring smooth execution.
Executes annual content reviews, curriculum updates for training courses.
Authors or sources additional content for assigned projects as needed while ensuring educational integrity and relevance.
Assists in content review for DMEC publications, conference submissions, webinars, and white papers to ensure alignment with DMEC standards and objectives.
Participates in the testing and quality assurance for pulse surveys and training development setup including content and technical aspects.
Serves as the primary point of contact for learner questions regarding training course content and systems.
Assists with the development and implementation of DMEC’s training courses.
Responsible to plan, execute, and manage member communications such as FAQ Friday and Communities questions.
Serves as the primary point of contact and manages ongoing product distribution for the FMLA/ADA Training for Supervisors and Managers.
Manages assigned project timelines and works collaboratively with relevant departments to ensure completion of project milestones and deliverables.

Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree (human resources or other related field preferred)
ADMS, ARM, CCM, CEBS, CDMS, CLMS, CMP, CPDM, CRCC, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, or similar certification(s).
Experience
5+ years of experience in the development and/or administration of absence management programs.
1-2 years of managing educational programming or content development preferred.
People-management experience preferred.
Association experience preferred.
Work Environment
This is a remote position. A quiet home office is required.
Travel one to three times per year for conferences and events may be required.
